weather update & planning
Based on the weather forecast, there is a chance of rain during tomorrow's Commencement
Ceremony, which will take place on Sodexo Field. Graduates, faculty, and staff will remain on the field, and we expect that most guests
will choose to remain at the Commencement site as well. It鈥檚 advisable to bring rain
gear.
However, we have expanded sites on campus where guests, if they choose to do so, can
watch the event via livestream in an indoor setting with limited seating. Guests can
watch the ceremony via in Spagnuolo Hall and in various classrooms in Petrocelli Hall. If needed, guests
can also go to the Fieldhouse or Marcucella Hall Room 102. Of course, the can be captured on your phone from any other location.
Staff onsite will direct guests to viewing locations, and a campus/viewing location map can be viewed here.
Finally, in the highly unlikely event of worsening weather conditions, we have a contingency plan which ensures that our graduates receive their diplomas on campus tomorrow. Additional details will be communicated as needed on our website and social media channels.
